OBS

Examples are oxidizing agents such as sodium or calcium hypochlorite, permanganates, sodium chlorites or hydrogen peroxide and reducing agents such as sulphur dioxide or sodium bisulphite.

Les pâtes au sulfate (...) requièrent un plus grand nombre de stades pour obtenir environ 85 points. Pour atteindre les degrés de blancheur les plus élevés, elles exigent l'emploi de réactifs coûteux, comme le bioxyde de chlore ou le peroxyde.

OBS

Tous les réactifs (chlore, eau de javel, bioxyde de chlore) utilisés pour le blanchiment s'obtiennent à partir du chlorure de sodium (sel ordinaire) décomposé par électrolyse en ses éléments chlore et sodium.
