1, record 4, French, - norme%20en%20mati%C3%A8re%20de%20suffisance%20du%20capital

A Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement(FIPA) is a bilateral agreement aimed at protecting and promoting foreign investment through legally-binding rights and obligations. FIPAs accomplish their objectives by setting out the respective rights and obligations of the countries that are signatories to the treaty with respect to the treatment of foreign investment. Typically, there are agreed exceptions to the obligations. FIPAs seek to ensure that foreign investors will not be treated worse than similarly situated domestic investors or other foreign investors; they will not have their investments expropriated without prompt and adequate compensation; and, in any case, they will not be subject to treatment lower than the minimum standard established in customary international law. As well, in most circumstances, investors should be free to invest capital and repatriate their investments and returns. 1, record 8, English, - Foreign%20Investment%20Promotion%20and%20Protection%20Agreement

1, record 8, French, - Accord%20sur%20la%20promotion%20et%20la%20protection%20des%20investissements%20%C3%A9trangers

We build a simple dynamic model of the business cycle with monopolistically competitive firms. With simple assumptions concerning firm entry and exit, the model can explain some important stylised facts of the business cycle which standard real business cycle models with perfect competition cannot predict. The South African mining industry generally uses the appropriation method of accounting, which closely resembles cash flow accounting. It is based on the premise that mines have a finite life... The principle is adopted that members’ funds are invested in a wasting asset and the cost of mining assets over and above the initial capital is provided out of profits earned... This method is the generally accepted standard for the deep level gold mining industry in South Africa and is used for statutory and regulatory compliance. 2, record 15, English, - appropriation%20accounting
