Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Non-callable preferred shares cannot be called or redeemed as long as the issuing company is in existence. This feature is restrictive from the issuer's standpoint, in that it freezes a part of the capital structure for the life of the company. The feature nowadays is, therefore, rarely built into the terms of Canadian preferreds. It is advantageous to the purchaser since the investment cannot be redeemed. 4, record 3, English, - non%2Dcallable%20preferred%20share
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The correct French equivalent is "action" in this context because "stock" and "share" are used interchangeably as a singular noun. 2, record 3, French, - action%20privil%C3%A9gi%C3%A9e%20non%20rachetable

In its early stages a junior mining company is usually a private company with few shareholders. With this structure, small amounts of risk capital are raised by the principals(or the promoter) selling treasury shares to a small number of individuals without the company going public and issuing a prospectus. However, when the company reaches the stage that more capital is needed than can be raised privately, it will "go public" and raise funds through a Distribution to the Public of unissued treasury shares by prospectus or statement of material fact. 1, record 6, English, - junior%20mining%20company

1, record 6, French, - petite%20soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9%20mini%C3%A8re

... the urban world into which Mary progressively enters is typical of modern African town-life. It displays the familiar interplay between formal and informal sector markets for labour and commodities, a high degree of ethnic and linguistic pluralism, and a relative dominance of formal organizations. The last foster a general awareness of formal-sector career models, which the young urbanites especially seek to emulate. Kinship appears to offer an urban reception structure for recent migrants that patterns urban-rural relations; however, ready alternatives to kinship are offered by urban churches and by the urban workplace, each providing a non-kinship, urban reception structure and reference group which may, however, superficially be cast in the idiom of fictive kinship. Commonly men and women do not follow the same trajectories in urbanization. The town, while largely destructive or rural-based social placement, is the site of a proliferation of new forms of social placement in class terms, depending on capital formation and on socio-economic distinction. 2, record 19, English, - reception%20structure

Modular companies aren’t a fad. Their streamlined structure fits today's tumultuous, fast-moving marketplace. Outsourcing noncore activities yields two advantages : First, it holds down the unit costs and investment needed to turn out new products rapidly. Second, it frees companies to direct scare capital where they hold a competitive advantage. [The idea is to] focus on a core competency and outsource the rest. 1, record 31, English, - modular%20company
