tethered ballon, moored balloon : Federal Aviation Administration regards any balloon which is designed for carrying persons as an aircraft, and as such it must be certificated and operated in accordance with the applicable rules for aircraft. Such a passenger carrying balloon is considered tethered when it is inflated and held to the ground, in whatever manner. A moored balloon(for which there are no prescribed airworthiness standards because passenger carrying was not intended) is essentially any lighter-than-air object operated under 14 CFR [Code of Federal Regulation] Part 101. Alcoholic proof is a measure of how much ethanol, or "grain alcohol, "is in an alcoholic beverage. The proof number is twice the percentage of the alcohol content measured by volume, at a temperature of 60° Fahrenheit. Therefore "80 degrees proof" is 40% alcohol by volume, and most of the other 60% is water. If you mix 180 proof whiskey half-and-half with water, your drink is 90 proof. OSHA Flammable/Combustible Liquid Classification.(29 CFR 1910. 106). Flammable/combustible liquid is a standard classification used to identify the risks of fire or explosion associated with a liquid. Flammable liquids(with a flash point below 100F(38 C) are class I liquids and are divided into the following classes : class IA--flash point below 73 F(22. 8 C), boiling point below 100 F(38 C) ;class IB--flash point below 73 F(22. 8 C), boiling point at or above 100 F(38 C) ;and class IC--flash point at or above 73 F(22. 8 C), boiling point below 100 F(38 C). Combustible liquids(with a flash point at or above 100 F) are divided into two classes : class II, with flash point at or above 100 F(38 C) and below 140 F(60 C), except any mixture having components with flash points of 200 F(93. 3 C) or higher, the volume of which makes up 99% or more of the total volume of the mixture; and class III, with flash point at or above 140 F(60 C). Class III liquids are divided into two subclasses : class IIIA, with flash point at or above 140 F(60 C) and below 200 F(93. 3 C), except any mixture having components with flash points of 200 F(93. 3 C) or higher, the volume of which makes up 99% or more of the total volume of the mixture; and class IIIB, with flash point at or above 200 F(93. 3 C). 1, record 32, English, - OSHA%20Flammable%2FCombustible%20Liquid%20Classification

1, record 32, French, - Classification%20des%20liquides%20inflammables%2Fcombustibles%20de%20l%27OSHA
