As early as 1933, when the first pattern green SNLF [Special Naval Landing Forces] officers’ uniforms appeared in China, the removable shoulder boards and the collar tabs for [the] tropical combat uniform were made in a matching green cotton or wool material, to the same design as the dark blue wool insignia; the same obviously applied to the sewn-in shoulder boards introduced in 1937. 2, record 1, English, - removable%20shoulder%20board

Imari. Japanese porcelain made at Arita(Hizen province) from the beginning of the 18th century onwards, and shipped from the port of Imari not far away. The decoration, perhaps influenced by Dutch traders, was overcrowded, and based on native textiles and brocades. Its popularity was such that it was copied, with variations, in China-a ware known as Chinese Imari. It is painted in several colours, of which a blackish underglaze blue and a strong dark red predominate. Its forms, decoration, and palette were copied in Europe.... 1, record 2, English, - Imari
