In December 2000, the Edmonton Association of Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors (EASMAC) merged with the Calgary Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal Association (CASMA) to create the Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Alberta (SMCAA).
