DEF

A structure that is designed for children to climb on for fun and that often includes a slide.

CONT

Besides the size, slides and climbers can differ in other aspects such as the material they are made out of or even the additional accessories that come with them. Choosing the appropriate playground equipment for your child depends on several factors such as the age of your child, the amount of space you have, and your budget.

CONT

... composite slides are slides connected to other playground equipment. They can be a part of a swing set or perhaps even [a] children's climber.

"Schistes lustrés" are the fine-grained, lustrous, low-grade metamorphic phyllites or schists of the alpine geosyncline. General practice in English is to retain this term which has great specificity.

CONT

These outcrops were once part of the sediment that lay on the floor of the Tethys ocean. Originally they were slightly calcareous and muddy. During metamorphism the clay minerals have been changed to mica, here arranged in dark, elongate clots. The rock is now very shiny - hence it is called informally "schistes lustrés."

CONT

This study deals with the different components of a part of the Tethyan suture in the north-western French-Italian Alps. It concerns more precisely the lithostratigraphic and structural analysis of the so-called Schistes lustrés complex.... The Schistes lustrés complex is resolved into three different lithostructural sets of units. The two lower ones, born of the European palaeo-margin for the lowest and of the palaeo-oceanic realm or Tethys for the other, are made of calcschists and marbles labelled by syn-orogenic detrital deposits of composite origin, oceanic and continental.

The horizontal and vertical sync pulses that form part of the composite video signal are separated in the sync separator. The composite video signal is either taken from the video detector output or after one stage of video amplification. A sync separator is a clipper that is suitably biased to produce output, only during sync pulse amplitude of the video signal. In some receivers, a noise gate precedes the sync separator. This suppresses strong noise pulses if present in the video signal.

Multi Material Moulding. Two raw material injection moulding : In this process, two materials are injected consecutively into two different mould cavities through separate nozzles to produce a moulded part. First one component is injected, then this part is transferred to another cavity by turning or pushing out part of the mould or by transferring the moulding into another mould, then the second component is injected. During composite injection moulding(Combiform), the second cavity is vacated by actuating a movable core. Two component injection moulding : In this process, two materials are injected through a nozzle into a mould cavity, resulting in a moulding with a clear separation between skin and core component. This process is also referred to as sandwich injection moulding.

OBS

Today the dividing line between [the] expressions ["two raw material injection moulding" and "two component injection moulding"] has become blurred as a result of the constant further development of the processes, new ideas and mould developments. In particular, two component injection moulding is also used as a term for the field of two raw material injection moulding (two shot moulding). The terms must therefore be clearly defined at the beginning of project discussions.

CONT

A brand new range of machines for multi-material moulding is now available due to the modular concept of the CANBIO line. Negri Bossi is producing this range of machines to meet the increasing requirements of the market for "multi-shot" and "multi-colour" mouldings.

The combination of oscillation and slope of the sieve causes the stock to travel slowly along its length. Air currents drawn from the underside of the sieve float the lighter branny particles to the surface of the layer of material on the sieve. Heavier particles of endosperm fall to the lowest strata of material and ride on the surface of the sieve until they reach the part of the sieve that has openings big enough for the particles to fall through. As the particles fall through, they are collected in a series of graded fractions. Thus, at the head end of the purifier, the purest most dense particles of endosperm pass first through the mesh as mixture travels along the sieve, the composite particles of endosperm with adhering bran are next to pass through the mesh, and finally the light coarse branny particles tail over the sieve into separation collecting spouts.

The number of reactant molecular entities that are involved in the microscopic chemical event constituting an elementary reaction.(For reactions in solution this number is always taken to exclude molecular entities that form part of the medium and which are involved solely by virtue of their solvation of solutes). A reaction with a molecularity of one is called unimolecular, on with a molecularity of two bimolecular and of three termolecular. The molecularity of a reaction is also the number of reactant particles present in the transition state. The term molecularity should not be applied to a composite reaction, even if there is a clearly-identified rate-determining step.

CONT
