Subatomic particles have various properties and are affected by certain forces that exhibit symmetry. An important property that gives rise to a conservation law is parity. In quantum mechanics all elementary particles and atoms may be described in terms of a wave equation. If this wave equation remains identical after simultaneous reflection of all spatial coordinates of the particle through the origin of the coordinate system, then it is said to have even parity. If such simultaneous reflection results in a wave equation that differs from the original wave equation only in sign, then the particle is said to have odd parity. The overall parity of a collection of particles, such as a molecule, is found to be unchanged with time during physical processes and reactions; this fact is expressed as the law of conservation of parity. 2, record 16, English, - law%20of%20conservation%20of%20parity

The cathode-ray tube is also supplied with a range time base..., synchronized to the pulse transmission, and suitable calibration devices... are usually also necessary. The form of the display unit depends on the particular radar application, and on what coordinate or coordinates other than range are to be presented. For example, in the plan position indicator the time base starts from the centre of the tube and goes radically outwards in a direction depending on the azimuth of the beamed aerials(which sweeps continuously), and the signal is presented as a spot intensifier. 6, record 18, English, - cathode%2Dray%20tube%20display

This paper explores how institutions of property rights and collective action play a particularly important role in the application of technologies for agriculture and natural resource management. Those technologies with long time frames tend to require tenure security to provide sufficient incentives to adopt, while those that operate on a large spatial scale will require collective action to coordinate, either across individual private property or in common property regimes. In contrast to many crop technologies like high-yielding variety seeds or fertilizers, natural resource management technologies like agroforestry, watershed management, irrigation, or fisheries tend to embody greater and more varying temporal and spatial dimensions. Whereas the literature addressing constraints and enabling factors for rural technology adoption have largely focused on their direct effects on crop technologies, the conceptual framework presented here shows how property rights and collective action interact with many other constraints to technology development(such as wealth, information, risk, or labor availability). 2, record 23, English, - rural%20technology

When these particles drift around the Earth, they do not remain on common field lines unless the geomagnetic field distribution is axially symmetric. This effect has been called "drift shell splitting"... A drift shell is uniquely determined by the coordinate pair(Bm, Lm) as a surface formed by segments of magnetic field lines between conjugate mirror points. Therefore, drift shells which are tangent to one another or cut one another at a given longitude or local time where they have a common segment of field line, generally are separate from one another at a different longitude or local time---in Roederer's terms these drift shells "split". But since these drift shells are different entities from the outset, there is no real need to infer a notion of splitting. 2, record 24, English, - shell%20splitting

Representing the evolution in time of a dynamic system by left shifts of the digits in a suitable number system brings out another important property of systems for which such a representation is possible. No matter how accurately the initial condition x0 of a coordinate is known, the accuracy will always be finite, that is, the digits of x0 to the right of the last known digit will be unknown. As the dynamic system evolves in time, the unknown digits will be shifted to the left; that is, they will grow in significance, and will sooner or later arrive at the "decimal" point and thus dominate the behavior of the system. And because the digits are unknown, this behavior will be completely unpredictable. The resulting motion is called chaotic. 2, record 29, English, - chaotic
