4, record 5, French, - %C3%A9lastom%C3%A8re

The more evident and more serious blisters are structural blisters. They occur in many forms of deformation and are not confined to the exposed surface. They are caused mainly by the expansion of trapped air and water-vapour or moisture or other gases. Air and moisture trapped within the construction tend to expand during a rise in air temperature or from the heat of the sun, and this expansion causes the plies of the roofing to separate and bulge the roof surface in a balloon effect. The blisters are spongy to the touch, and may occur between any of the layers of roofing felt, or between membrane and deck, or membrane and insulation. 3, record 7, English, - air%20pocket

2, record 7, French, - poche%20d%27air

[Delayed re-heat cracking] only occurs with certain materials such as 321 type stainless steel, as it is caused by hardening of the steel due to fine precipitations of titanium carbide inside the crystalline structure. The hardening causes the plastic deformation capacity to be transferred to the periphery of the grains. For this to happen, the following conditions have to be met : a high operating temperature([higher than] 475°C for 321 steel), a geometrical discontinuity at the weld root, strain hardening at the weld root showing significant shrinkage, heavy local load, which may be due to welding stresses, a defect in the weld root(e. g. a small shrinkage crack). 1, record 11, English, - delayed%20re%2Dheat%20cracking

Elastic creep by crack growth is proposed as a mechanism of creep in polycrystalline ceramics. An analysis shows that in aluminum oxide, creep by crack growth can occur in coarse-grained microstructures and a range of temperature over which contributions of other creep mechanisms to the total creep strain are negligible. Crustal deformation is dominated by dislocation processes. Dislocations are line defects in a crystal(ex : line of missing atoms). Dislocations can move easily at high temperature(say 300°C for quartz). The motion of dislocations in a crystallographic plane is called dislocation glide. Dislocation glide allows deformation of crystals and results in crystallographic preferred orientation. A strong microfabric is typically interpreted as resulting from dislocation glide mechanisms because very few other processes would produce a crystallographic preferred orientation. 2, record 19, English, - dislocation%20creep
