[shown], the bore would be incapable of spontaneously "blowing" because the vapour pressure would everywhere be less than the overlying hydrostatic pressure. 1, record 13, English, - overlying%20hydrostatic%20pressure

The longitudinal shape of the water surface in a stream or open conduit upstream from a point where a sudden fall occurs, as when flowing water passes over a dam, weir, or other obstruction. In uniform channels the curve is convex upward. The depth at all points is greater than Belanger's critical depth and less than normal depth, and velocities increase downstream, the flow being nonuniform. 2, record 15, English, - drop%2Ddown%20curve

Electrical resistivity surveys may be made in two ways :"depth profile" and "step traverse" procedures. Depth profile information is obtained by taking a series of readings at increasing electrode spacings and by plotting the resistance readings against the potential electrode spacing to produce a depth profile resistivity curve. 1, record 18, English, - depth%20profile

1, record 18, French, - profil%20de%20profondeur
