Ozone is formed in the stratosphere by the combination of O2 and atomic oxygen in the presence of a third body, usually on the surface of a particulate. The atomic oxygen results from the photolytic dissociation of oxygen. Absorption by oxygen takes place primarily in the visible and ultraviolet regions of the spectrum; the major part of the ozone absorption takes place only in the ultraviolet region. 4, record 15, English, - atomic%20oxygen

Tropospheric ozone is considered an irritant gas; it forms under the influence of sunlight especially during summer days. 5, record 29, French, - constante%20d%27acidit%C3%A9

... Calcium and Magnesium react with other chemicals in the water. The warm water acts as a catalyst and increases the number of reactions depending on the concentration of calcium and magnesium. The reaction which takes place is the dissociation of calcium hydrocarbonate, formula : Ca(HC03) and magnesium hydrocarbonate, formula : Mg(HC0[ susbcript 3]) 2. Both of these are soluble solids, which means they can dissolve when put in water. When these two soluble salts dissociate, they form carbon dioxide(a gas), which is released from the water, and calcium and magnesium carbonate. These two compounds are not soluble and are therefore taken out of solution. The avoidant symptoms of posttraumatic stress, on the other hand, may serve to regulate or control the impact of intrusive cognitive-emotional memories by decreasing contact with posttraumatic triggers through dissociation of environmental stimuli and by reducing awareness of activated CERs [conditioned emotional responses]. This avoidance mechanism would be most important in instances when early childhood maltreatment had precluded the development of sufficient affect regulation capacities, such that "normal" reexperiencing of memory would exceed the survivor's ability to regulate painful material, producing extreme distress and, ironically, eliminating the disparity requirement by making the current environment painful and subjectively dangerous. 1, record 44, English, - avoidance%20mechanism

Binding of the TATA Binding Protein(TBP) to the TATA box is the first step in the formation of the transcription pre-initiation complex(Nakajima, et. al, 1988). TBP demonstrates DNA binding properties unique among the sequence-specific DNA binding proteins, namely a strong temperature dependence of binding and slow on/off rates(Horikoshi, et. al, 1988; Lee, et. al, 1992). In this study, the temperature dependent binding of yeast TBP(yTBP) to the TATA box consensus sequence from adenovirus major late promoter is characterized. Equilibrium dissociation constants(Kds) were determined for yTBP binding to the TATA box at both 25° C and 37° C. 3, record 67, English, - major%20late%20promoter

2, record 92, French, - %C3%A9quilibre%20de%20dissociation
