The CIT, also known as the guilty knowledge test [GKT], is used in criminal investigations to examine whether a person recognizes crime-relevant information that innocent people would not know. In the CIT, an examiner presents several items to an examinee, one of which is a crime-relevant item. The items are selected such that innocent examinees would not be able to distinguish the crime-relevant(critical) item from the crime-irrelevant(non-critical) items. Each item is presented once in a block and this block is repeated several times in different presentation orders. During the CIT, the examiner records physiological responses to the items. In the case that the responses do not differ between the critical and non-critical items, the examiner would infer that the examinee does not recognize the critical item. On the other hand, in the case that the responses differ between the critical and non-critical items, the examiner would infer that the examinee recognizes the critical item. 1, record 3, English, - concealed%20information%20test

Catch disposition was further classified into four categories : retained, released alive, discarded dead, or lost. The lost catch refers to the proportion of total capture that becomes detached from the gear at the moment of hauling. This can be caused by operating problems(i. e. the tension of the gear, if contrary to the direction of the ship, may cause the fish to be lost if the ship does not stop in time), or if the species caught is of low commercial value, in which case the skipper will not stop the vessel... 1, record 9, English, - lost%20catch

The advanced-passive reactor, the AP1000, is already a proven technology in the world.... Some 1, 300 man years of design and safety work has already been carried out on that type of design. In terms of fuel efficiency, the newer forms of nuclear reactor are some 10 times more economic than current counterparts-for each gigawatt of power produced, they require 30 tonnes of fuel per year, compared with 300 tonnes of the same fuel required by Magnox power stations. Those new designs are very safe and have a passive safety system, which is not reliant on electric pumps or other automated facilities as is the present case. 3, record 38, English, - advanced%20passive%20reactor

1. The "dispersion of indications" can be expressed quantitatively by the standard deviation or by the range of dispersion(spread) of the indications. 2. The concept envisaged is equally applicable to measuring instruments and to graduated material measures. It is to be noted that insofar as material measures, which only reproduce a single value(or several separate values) of a quantity, are concerned, it is not theoretically correct to speak of dispersion of their "indications", given that these represent fixed values. In this case, however, it is the dispersion of the value reproduced of the quantity which is of interest, a dispersion that can be found by means of comparisons with a standard. 3. It is necessary to indicate the conditions under which the series of measurements in question is carried out : if these measurements are to follow directly one after the other; if between each of them there must be a certain time interval; if they must be carried out by the same observer or by different observers, etc... 1, record 60, English, - dispersion%20of%20indications

1, record 99, Spanish, - deseconom%C3%ADa%20externa
