The hog farmer usually numbers each litter sequentially throughout the year. In each litter, each piglet receives an individual number. For example, a litter number of 76 indicates the seventy-sixth litter born during the farrowing season. If nine piglets are in the litter, they are assigned an individual number from 1 to 9. By convention the litter number is placed in the right ear, and the individual piglet number is placed in the left ear... 2, record 1, English, - litter%20number

... 8D music is mixed in such a way as to make it feel multidimensional. In standard music mixing, most songs are limited to only a few channels. Pop music generally has two channels—left and right... To achieve proper left and right channel balance, audio engineers use equalizers, panning, and effects to keep what [listeners] hear in each ear about the same. In 8D [music], the engineers use these techniques to make it sound like the channels are shifting and the music is moving around [them]. 2, record 2, English, - 8D%20music

Record number: 6, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Audiometry provides a more precise measurement of hearing. Air conduction is tested by wearing earphones attached to the audiometer. Pure tones of controlled intensity are delivered to one ear at a time. The patient is asked to raise a hand, press a button, or otherwise indicate when he hears a sound. The minimum intensity(volume) required to hear each tone is graphed. An attachment called a bone oscillator is placed against the bone behind each ear(mastoid bone) to test bone conduction. 3, record 6, English, - audiometry
