EARLY ANTIGEN [5 records]

Record 1 2011-05-09

English

Subject field(s)
  • Immunology
DEF

A lymphokine produced by antigen-or mitogen-activated T lymphocytes, which stimulates proliferation of hematopoietic as well as lymphoid stem cells; a colony-stimulating factor for all bone marrow progenitor cells. IL-3 supports the growth and differentiation of early hematopoietic and lymphoid stem cells as well as that of more mature hematopoietic cells, including granulocytes, macrophages, and mast cells.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Immunologie
DEF

Record 2 2007-08-06

English

Subject field(s)
  • Veterinary Medicine
CONT

Diagnostic methods for early detection of brucellosis(Br. melitensis) were evaluated... buffered acidified plate antigen test(BAPAT) and rose bengal plate antigen test(RBPT) showed very early detection of infection in the serum...

French

Domaine(s)
  • Médecine vétérinaire
OBS

Brucellose.

Record 3 1998-06-09

English

Subject field(s)
  • Immunology
DEF

Antigen synthesized when a lymphoid cell is spontaneously triggered into viral replication or when the viral replicative cycle is induced by one of a variety of exogenous stimuli.... Early antigens(EA) are composed of a series of polypeptides. At least two components of early antigen called "diffuse"(D) and "restricted"(R) have been defined on the basis of their distribution in the cell.... Human sera with high titers of antibodies to early antigens immunoprecipitate a group of polypeptides from cells expressing the antigens.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Immunologie
OBS

English

Subject field(s)
  • Microbiology and Parasitology
CONT

The molecular specificity of the IgG response against Epstein-Barr virus(EBV) was studied in 345 randomly collected sera of normal healthy individuals. The sera were tested on immunoblots containing antigens of the cell line HH514. c16... non-induced or induced for the expression of early antigen(EA) or viral capsid antigens(VCA), and from EBV-negative cell line Ramos-Nut.

Record 5 1993-02-11

English

Subject field(s)
  • Epidermis and Dermis
DEF

An acute inflammatory condition of the skin following topical exposure to an allergen to which the subject shows delayed hypersensitivity.

CONT

Allergic contact dermatitis. This prototype cell-mediated hypersensitivity reactions involves the activation of Langerhans’ cells, and infiltration of lymphocytes in response to antigen in susceptible individuals. The early lesions induced by dinitrochlorobenzene and environmental allergens(poison ivy) include basophil infiltration replaced some days later by mast cell recruitment and replication.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Épiderme et derme
CONT
