Package bees are sold and dispatched in a wooden box with a wire screen on the front and rear sides for ventilation. The package usually contains :... live bees without brood or combs[, a] caged young mated queen [and] a can feeder with... sugar syrup for the bees to feed on while in transit and until they are hived in their new hive. Package bees are purchased to start new beehives or to strengthen weak colonies and to replace colonies [that] died in winter. Package bees should be ordered early so that the bees can arrive early in spring and take advantage of the many fruit trees and plants that bloom in the spring. 3, record 1, English, - package%20bees

3, record 1, French, - abeilles%20en%20paquet

Symptoms : Leaf infections in spring and early summer create a yellowish spotting on the upper leaf surface. At first the spots are very small, yellow to orange and slightly raised(spermagonia) but then new, yellow to orangish spore bearing structures(aecia) are produced in a ring around these spots. By summer, another yellow spore stage(uredinia) appears on the lower leaf surface... Fruit often dies on the canes before maturing if leaves on fruiting laterals are attacked early in the summer. 4, record 4, English, - yellow%20rust

Hard, scab-like spots on the infected fruit are characteristic symptoms of nailhead spot. The spots are dark brown and usually small, and the discoloration extends beneath each spot into the flesh of the fruit. Like early blight, it causes leaf defoliation. 2, record 5, French, - t%C3%AAte%20de%20clou

The term "fruit load" is the maximum weight of fruit that the plant can bear. Fruit load depends on a plant's stem size, amount of foliage, and it's root system. When a plant reaches it's fruit load it will stop producing flowers. To increase the yield, pick pods at their largest green form early in the season. Then the plant will continue to flower and set fruit for a longer growing season. 2, record 6, English, - fruit%20load
