During the FUNdamental stage(females 6-8, males 6-9), children should develop fundamental movement skills, including the ABCs of agility, balance, coordination and speed. Children should participate in a fun and challenging multi-sport environment. Early elementary school age children need to participate in a variety of well-structured activities that develop basic skills. However, activities and programs need to maintain a focus on fun, and formal competition should only be minimally introduced. 1, record 1, English, - FUNdamental

3, record 1, French, - S%27amuser%20gr%C3%A2ce%20au%20sport

In vitro freezing of tissue. Early attempts at studying the effects of speed and final temperature of freezing of tissue slices on cellular damage had difficulty in separating these parameters. Rubinsky and co-workers developed a method of controlled freezing of tissue slices on a microscope slide moving along a temperature gradient between two constant temperature bases. They were able to freeze animal and human liver tissue with a constant cooling rate. Their experiments revealed that high cooling rates will result in intracellular ice formation and probably immediate cell death, representing the clinical situation very close to the cryoprobe. Lower cooling rates resulting in cellular dehydration and extracellular ice formation with large ice crystals propagating along the sinusoids, expanding them by a factor of two in diameter. 1, record 3, English, - final%20temperature%20of%20freezing

BIOBOX(BBX) is a Space rated incubator. The BBX facility uses Peltier devices to heat and cool air that is circulated inside the insulated experiment container. There are three static sample containers and one centrifuge. The centrifuge spins at a specific speed to simulate one-g for reference. The static sample containers hold eight plunger boxes each. The plunger boxes are identical to units flown for biorack. There are no crew interfaces to BBX. It will be powered pre-flight, during ascent, during descent and post-landing. It is also a late access and early retrieval item. It will be mounted on the Aft bulkhead and replace three lockers. 4, record 7, English, - biobox

As a CME [Coronal Mass Ejection] hits the magnetosphere, the compression of the magnetic field produces an increase in the field measured at ground level. This gives a characteristic rise in the field and is known as a Sudden Storm Commencement(SSC). Not all SSCs are followed by auroral activity, but it is a good early indicator. If the solar wind speed and IMF [Interplanetary Magnetic Field] direction are favourable, the energy in the magnetosphere will gradually build up into a large storm, with the magnetic field decreasing and changing rapidly. 2, record 8, English, - sudden%20storm%20commencement

The multi-aspect signalling commonly used in the UK today is a 4-aspect system. It works similarly to the 3-aspect system except that two warnings are provided before a red signal, a double yellow and a single yellow. This has two purposes. First, it provides early warnings of a red signal for higher speed trains or it can allow better track occupancy by shortening the length of the blocks. The high speed trains have advanced warning of red signals while the slower speed trains can run closer together at 50Km/h or so under "double yellows". 1, record 9, English, - multi%2Daspect%20signalling

A genre of music typified by moderate to slow measures punctuated by fast measures, heavily distorted guitars, double-bass drums, and deep, hoarse vocals made to sound as though they come from the very mouth of Satan. The lyrics normally concern death, decay, accepting Satan as a personal saviour, and, among intellectual bands such as Skin Chamber, existential emptiness. Death metal appears to have evolved from speed metal such as Slayer early Metallica, as well as from such straightforward metal bands as Mötorhead and Black Sabbath. The style of the vocals in death metal seems to be in part a rebellion against the wailing high-pitch vocals of glam metal bands in the tradition of Led Zeppelin and Guns ’n’ Roses. Examples of death metal bands : Cannibal Corpse, Godflesh, and some Sepultura. 2, record 10, English, - death%20metal
