D'après Larousse, ce terme [rigoler] est de niveau populaire, c'est-à-dire déplacé dans les écrits et la conversation de bonne tenue. Comme son emploi est plutôt restreint au Canada, il s'auréole d'un certain prestige "français", tout comme les mots marre, se marrer et marrant, qui sont vulgaires. Il convient de connaître la portée exacte des mots qu'on emploie. (A déconseiller) : Ceux qui aiment bien rigoler se retrouvent à l'antenne de CBFT.
