L'analgésie péridurale est une technique d'anesthésie locorégionale réalisée par un médecin anesthésiste-réanimateur. Elle est destinée à supprimer ou à atténuer les douleurs de l'accouchement et/ou, si besoin, à en faciliter le déroulement. C'est à ce jour la méthode la plus efficace.
