Record number: 5, Textual support number: 1 DEF
In order to estimate the efficiency requirements of air pollution control equipment necessary to control emissions from an industrial or other polluter, both the quality of the particulate matter in the exit gases and the size of the particulates are determining factors. Thus, quantitative assessment of the amount and qualitative examination of the type of particulates enables the designer to estimate the particulate loading in a specific case. 1, record 5, English, - particulate%20loading
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 1 OBS
When solid particles are more than one micron in size, they are generally referred to as dust. In spite of this distinction, "dust" is commonly used as a synonym for "solid particulates", without regard to individual particle size. 6, record 5, English, - particulate%20loading

2, record 5, French, - charge%20de%20particules
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 2 OBS
3, record 5, French, - charge%20de%20particules
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 3 OBS
3, record 5, French, - charge%20de%20particules
