Led by senior researchers at universities in Québec, Ontario and British Columbia to build bridges between various sectors of Canadian society and capture the benefits of partnerships. It capitalizes on the special strengths and expertise of researchers, educators, policy makers, business and community leaders. Together, the partners will look synergistically at the extensive education, training and retraining Canadians will need to participate successfully in the evolving knowledge-based global economy. The network will provide decision makers with better information on which to base education policies and programs. Dirigé par des chercheurs expérimentés d'universités du Québec, de l'Ontario et de la Colombie-Britannique, le Réseau pour l'évaluation des technologies de l'éducation et de la formation (EvNet) contribue à rapprocher divers secteurs de la société et à tirer parti des avantages du partenariat. Il met à contribution des chercheurs, des éducateurs, des responsables de l'élaboration de politiques, des chefs de file du monde des affaires et de la collectivité qui apportent au réseau leurs compétences et leur expertise particulières. Les partenaires travailleront en synergie pour examiner l'éducation, la formation et le recyclage dont les Canadiens auront besoin pour fonctionner efficacement dans une nouvelle économie mondiale qui s'appuie sur les connaissances. Le réseau donne aux décideurs une information plus exhaustive sur laquelle baser les politiques et les programmes en matière de formation.
