Digital disruption is the change that occurs when new digital technologies and business models affect the value proposition of existing goods and services. The rapid increase in the use of mobile devices for personal use and work, a shift sometimes referred to as the consumerization of IT [information technology], has increased the potential for digital disruption across many industries. 2, record 1, English, - digital%20disruption

Do not confuse "warranty" and "guaranty". guarantee. A. And "warranty". Originally the same word, "warranty" and "guarantee"(or "-ty") arrived in the language through different medieval French dialects. "Guarantee" is the broader term, ordinarily meaning either(1) "the act of giving a security; the undertaking with respect to(a contract, performance of a legal act, etc.) that it shall be duly carried out, "or(2) "something given or existing as security, e. g., for fulfillment of an engagement or condition"(OED). "Warranty", as a legal term, has slightly more specific and elaborate senses :(1) "a covenant(either express or implied) annexed to a conveyance of realty by which the seller warrants the security of the title conveyed";(2) "an assurance, express or implied, given by the seller of goods, that he will be answerable for their possession of some quality attributed to them"(the seller hereby disclaims all warranties) ;or(3) "in a contract for insurance, an engagement by the insured that certain statements are true or that certain conditions shall be fulfilled"(OED). B. And "guaranty". The distinction in BrE once was that the former is the verb, the latter the noun. Yet "guarantee" is now commonly used as both n. & v. t. in both AmE and BrE. In practice, "guarantee", n., is the usual term, seen often, for example, in the context of consumer warranties or other assurances of quality or performance. "Guaranty", in contrast, is now used primarily in financial and banking contexts in the sense "a promise to answer for the debt of another. ""Guaranty" is now rarely seen in nonlegal writing, whether in G. B. or in the U. S. Some legal writers prefer "guaranty" in all nominal senses. 6, record 3, English, - warranty%20period

The Agreement on Internal Trade(AIT) is an intergovernmental agreement signed by Canadian First Ministers that came into force in 1995. Its purpose is to foster improved interprovincial trade by addressing obstacles to the free movement of persons, goods, services and investments within Canada. The establishment of the AIT marks a significant achievement in helping to remove the existing interprovincial trade barriers, prevent the establishment of new barriers and harmonise interprovincial standards. These actions reduce extra costs to Canadian businesses by making internal trade more efficient, increasing market access for Canadian companies and facilitating work mobility for tradespeople and professionals. 1, record 4, English, - Agreement%20on%20Internal%20Trade

1, record 4, French, - Accord%20sur%20le%20commerce%20int%C3%A9rieur

The principal difference between the existing QST [Quebec sales tax] and the GST [goods and services tax] derives from the concept of non-taxable supplies present in the provincial regime. This concept ensures that the QST is a retail sales tax, that is, one which is collected at the retail level. The GST, in contrast, is a value-added tax which is collected and reimbursed at every stage along the production and marketing chain with the final consumer ultimately being the one to pay the tax. 2, record 7, English, - non%2Dtaxable%20supply

There is one class of goods, it seems, in respect of which there may be a sale even though they are not existing at the time of the contract. The legal property in such goods can pass to the buyer without any need to conform to the provisions of the Act relating to the transfer of property. Such goods are those which have "potential existence". The distinction existed at common law between future goods to be manufactured or acquired by the seller, the position with respect to which has been considered above, and future goods in which the seller had what was called "a potential property". Such goods comprehended things which were the natural produce or expected increase of something already owned or possessed by the seller, for example, hay to be grown in a field, wool to be grown on sheep owned by the seller, or milk to be yielded by the seller's cows in the coming month. 1, record 10, English, - potential%20property

It will also test the use of Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS) and the concept of a seamless border for low-risk and pre-approved drivers. The Prototype is a low volume field test operating at six sites. On the Canada/United States border, the sites are at Fort Erie/Buffalo and Windsor/Detroit, and on the Mexico/United States border the sites include El Paso/Juarez, Laredo/Nuevo Laredo, Otay Mesa/Tijuana and Nogales/Nogales. To expedite the flow of legitimate goods coming across our border, a transponder system for trucks has already been tested. NATAP now is working on other high-tech alternatives such as smart cards or swipe cards that can instantly provide data on both the truck and the load it is carrying to customs. Under NATAP, the three countries are also harmonizing the data and the procedures for customs clearance. Work is underway on common software and an encryption system for exchanging electronic data. 5, record 13, English, - North%20American%20trade%20automation%20prototype
