Most of the existing Canadian title registration statutes are really hybrid interest recording/title registration statutes. A future interest is an interest in property in which the right to possession or enjoyment of the property is postponed to a future time. Nevertheless, it is a presently existing interest in the property and it is thus part of the total ownership of the property. The fact that a future interest is a presently existing interest implies that it confers present, as well as future, rights and obligations.(Anger & Honsberger, 2nd ed., 1985, p. 335) 1, record 13, English, - future%20interest

A doctrine of estates which measured interests in land in terms of duration and recognized that interests could arise successively as segments of an ultimate estate in fee simple invited the working out of a law of future interests. 335) 1, record 14, English, - existing%20interest

Positional cloning of disease gene loci assigned to 8q24 can be assisted by a high resolution map of this genomic area. In an effort to improve the resolution of the 8q24 map, we have undertaken radiation hybrid(RH) mapping. This method compliments the existing mapping strategies of meiotic mapping(Gyapay et al., 1994) and somatic cell hybrid panels(Wagner et al., 1991; Parrish et al., 1994), but at a higher resolution and with particular emphasis on defining the order and intermarker distance of loci in regions of interest. 1, record 16, English, - positional%20cloning

The main goal of the Environmental Registry is to make it easier to access current information related to CEPA 1999. It is a comprehensive source of information on a variety of CEPA 1999-related tools, including proposed and existing policies, guidelines, codes of practice, government notices and orders, agreements, permits, and regulations. Mortgage refinancing : refinancing a mortgage means paying off a current mortgage and replacing it with a new one. This can be done with the existing bank(lender) often named renewal or via another bank(lender). There are many unique reasons why homeowners refinance : to obtain a lower interest rate; to shorten the term of their mortgage; to change the type of mortgage; to access the home's equity for other needs; mortgage refinancing when moving and buying a home; to consolidate debt; to be able to convert part or all of [the] mortgage interest to be tax-deductible in Canada. 2, record 20, English, - mortgage%20refinancing

The intent for multispectral and hyperspectral image data analysis is to rapidly and inexpensively associate a ground cover label to each pixel in the image. Given the multivariate nature of such data, the process of data analysis is one of dividing up the N-dimensional feature space into M exhaustive but non-overlapping regions where M is the number of classes of materials existing in the scene. The process involves defining the M classes of interest in a quantitative fashion, such that each pixel in the scene, which exists as a discrete location in the N-dimensional space, can be uniquely associated with one of the M classes. Frequently, this is done by using a small number of samples in the scene, called design samples or training samples, to define an N-dimensional probability density function for each of the M classes. 4, record 21, English, - n%2Ddimensional%20probability%20density%20function

Vulture investors are individuals and institutions that come to the aid of, or prey upon, troubled companies. Smart vultures don’t simply buy common shares in a company that is trending toward bankruptcy. Instead, they’ll lend money at extraordinarily high interest rates, or demand a chunk of equity in return for the loan, or demand to buy stock at a discount to the current market price. Frequently, such transactions cause a dilution of the value of the shares held by existing shareholders and create a situation in which the new investors have better claims on a company's assets and income than do existing common shareholders. 3, record 22, English, - vulture%20investor

For various reasons, often relating to the lack of perceived public interest in a certain State enterprise, decision makers may shy away from a flotation. The next most popular choice has been the trade sale, where a buyer usually from within the same industry as the tendered enterprise(or a related industry in the case of a monopoly) is selected by the government to purchase the enterprise outright. States have often opted for a trade sale for industries that at the time of sale were not profitable, but could profitably be incorporated into the existing intrastructre of a larger corporation. 1, record 33, English, - trade%20sale

4, record 36, French, - r%C3%A9gulateur%20de%20croissance%20des%20insectes
