In particular, [the] system... can provide the user with options for accessing the images, content, virtual objects, and VR [virtual reality] controls using eye gaze, hand gestures, head movements, and/or other user-based movements within the VR space. For example, a user can generate 3D [tridimensional] drawings in portions of the VR space and interact with such drawings using 2D [bidimensional] and 3D input devices, and tools configured to generate artistic drawings or annotations on drawings or other VR objects. 3, record 1, English, - hand%20gesture

In an embodiment, the hand ... may start a training session in a semi-closed position, so it has room to open or close. The speed of the movement of [the] hand ... may depend on information provided by kinematic sensors ... For instance, the kinematic sensors ... may provide a proportional control value to regulate the speed of movement of the hand ... In an embodiment, the kinematic sensors ... provide a value between 0 and 1 to the VR [virtual reality] control module ... which reflects the speed of intended hand movement. If the value is closer to 0, the hand movement is correspondingly slow. If the value is closer to 1, the hand movement is correspondingly fast. In another embodiment, the speed of the movement of the hand ... may depend on a measurement of the EMG [electromyographic] signal provided by the user. 2, record 1, English, - hand%20gesture

2, record 1, French, - mouvement%20de%20la%20main

Smart eyewear is defined as eyewear incorporating a near-to-eye display. As used herein, near-to-eye display means a display, device, or system, such as a retinal projector, virtual retinal display, visualization element, head-mounted display, heads-up display, or other near-to-eye system, typically worn on the head of a user that generates an image near the eye. In a smart eyewear configuration, a display device is often mounted adjacent to an edge of each of the wearer's eyes and an image is typically displayed in the center of each lens. The location of the displayed image, therefore, forces the wearer to gaze in a direction to view the image generated by the display. Typically positioned near the user's eye, the display is aligned to the central region of the user's field of view to allow review of the displayed information with little or no head movement. This enables the user to view the display while also viewing the area outside the central region and interacting with the surrounding environment. In another embodiment, the displayed image is aligned to a region other than the central region of the user's field of view. 5, record 2, English, - near%2Dto%2Deye%20display
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Near-eye display devices are configured to present images to a user via a display that is positioned close to the user’s eyes. For example, a head-mounted augmented reality display device may be worn on a user’s head to position a near-eye display directly in front of a user’s eyes. A near-eye display may be at least partially see-through to allow a user to view a real-world background in combination with displayed virtual objects. This may allow virtual objects to be displayed such that the virtual objects appear to exist within the real-world environment. 6, record 2, English, - near%2Dto%2Deye%20display

The technology provides one or more embodiments of a near-eye display (NED) device system. An embodiment of a NED device system comprises a near-eye display device including a near-eye support structure and a near-eye display (NED) supported by the near-eye support structure and having a display field of view. The NED system further comprises an image generation unit supported by the near-eye support structure which outputs image data which is optically coupled to the near-eye display (NED). 4, record 2, English, - near%2Dto%2Deye%20display

Web developers cannot assume that all end-users can apply the full range of human physical and sensory ability or that they make use of a standard suite of computer technology for their Web usage, but must consider mobile communications technologies such as hands-free / eyes-free systems, speech synthesis and voice recognition technologies, one-button scanning and control features and mice-emulators, and alternative input systems (touch screens, eye-gaze systems, mouse or trackball devices). 3, record 3, English, - eyesight%20control%20system
