Rainbow formed in the same way as the solar rainbow, but with light from the Moon rather than the Sun. 5, record 18, English, - moonbow
Record number: 18, Textual support number: 1 CONT
A night time rainbow is sometimes called a moon bow because it is a reflection of the light of the moon. ... Any rainbow comes from light hitting drops of rain and going into the drop and being reflected off of the inside edge. As the light leaves the drop on it’s return journey the other side of the drop acts like a prism and separates it into the colors of the rainbow. ... with moon light it makes something shaped like a rainbow with just a hint color. Moon bows occur in the side of the sky opposite the moon. 2, record 18, English, - moonbow
Record number: 18, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Even though the optics of both is the same, the luminance of the lunar rainbow is much lower. As a result of the eye's reduced sensitivity to color at low light levels, the bow may exhibit little color. There are several reasons why the lunar rainbow is seen much less frequently than the solar bow. While the moon and sun spend equal time above the horizon, when they are both present, only a solar bow can be seen. This, by itself, means that the lunar rainbow could form only half as often. Further, the moon goes through phases, and so even at night may not contribute enough light to produce a discernible bow. Finally, the convective showers in which the rainbow is frequently seen are much less common at night. 6, record 18, English, - moonbow

The two masks fit over each other and are believed to have been worn together during Naxnox performances. The audience would see only one mask at a time, and believe the dancer had the power to change stone at will. The transition from sighted to unsighted mask(creating an illusion of opening and closing the eyes) during the dances was presumably hidden by the dancer's costume. 1, record 28, English, - Naxnox

1, record 28, French, - Naxnox

personal phone number service : Needless to say, the service is not exactly cheap. All unplanned long-distance costs are borne by the subscriber, and the basic fixed charge is the equivalent of around FF70 per month. However, in addition to the automatic "scheduling agent, "the user can make use of services which filter calls in various ways. For example, one can decide to only let through calls from people who have a predetermined code, or find out who the caller is before answering. Bell is reluctant to portray the new service as heralding the lifetime individual phone number. "People already have enough numbers to deal with, ": says Jacques Houpert. "Surveys have shown that in most user's eyes, the idea of a lifetime number smacks too much of regimentation and compulsory ID cards. It's seen as like being tattooed.

These images come from satellites which remain above a fixed point on the Earth(ie. they are "geostationary"). The infrared picture shows the same view but looking at a part of the spectrum which our eyes do not detect. The infrared pictures allow us to measure the temperature of the cloud tops, which can be used to determine their height. The whiter clouds are colder than the greyer clouds in this image. Infrared images can be recorded 24 hours a day. Visible pictures can only be made during daylight hours. 5, record 32, English, - infrared%20image
