The Train to Win stage(females 18+, males 19+) is the final stage of the LTAD [Long-Term Athlete Development] high-performance stream. Medals and podium performances are the primary focus. In the Train to Win stage of LTAD, athletes with identified talent pursue high-intensity training to win international events. They are now full-time athletes. The previous LTAD stages have developed and optimized the skills, tactics, and ancillary capacities of each athlete. Athletes have now realized their full genetic potential. They must now train to maximize and maintain their competitive performance at the highest level. At the Train to Win stage, world-class athletes with or without disabilities require world-class training methods, equipment, and facilities that meet the demands of the sport and the athlete.

Some concerns regarding vegetation and trees obstructing the boundary vista were addressed with two additional projects that were carried out during October and November. These involved vista-clearing along the 45th Parallel (the Quebec-Vermont/New York border), in particular along the major road crossings; and along the South Line (Quebec-Maine border).

The Canadian Forces Electronic Warfare Centre(CFEWC) exists to deliver comprehensive EW support to CF military operations. CFEWC is endeavouring to be the expert authority on technical EW matters within the Canadian Forces. In 1990, the Electronic Warfare Operational Support Centre(EWOSC) project was initiated with the intent of consolidating operational, intelligence and engineering support to the CF EW community. Oilfields, after a certain production period, are then called mature fields. Mature fields are those where the recovered oil fraction is close to the final recovery factor. Its mature phase is generally accompanied by an increasing production of water or gas, plus the aging of surface and subsurface equipment. To revitalize mature fields, a series of technologies is developed to increase the final recovery factor through treatments on a field (the so-called tertiary petroleum recovery) or well (stimulation, recompletion, treatments and logging) scale, in addition to optimizing the techniques relating to oil lift, its surface flow and treatment.

Many mature gas fields also have a fairly significant production decline, especially when development drilling has come to an end. These mature fields can be revitalized in many ways. In some instances, efforts are focused on the reservoir with further drilling to drain potentially unswept hydrocarbons with infill wells or horizontal laterals. The horizontal drilling might be from new wellbores or wells that are currently temporarily abandoned or near their economic limit. With the increase in horizontal-well activity, there is an abundance of new technology with advances in gravel-pack design, underbalanced drilling with coiled tubing, and coiled-tubing fracturing. Besides these production improvements, operators are revamping both downhole and surface facilities to help breathe new life into older fields. Advances are taking place in the areas of artificial lift, intelligent-well completions, expandable tubulars, and others.

The Toulouse Space Centre(CST) has become a unique technical and operational centre in terms of both its size and the scope of its activities. Le Centre Spatial de Toulouse est un pôle technique et opérationnel unique par son importance et la diversité de ses activités, il développe, en partenariat avec l'industrie, des systèmes spatiaux complets jusqu'à leur mise en service opérationnelle. Il participe à la réalisation de projets scientifiques ou instrumentaux et pilote des programmes de recherche ou d'application pour le compte du Centre National d'Études Spatiales ou des utilisateurs (nationaux ou européens).
