FACTOR MOBILITY [6 records]

Record 1 2009-08-12

English

Subject field(s)
  • Personality Development
CONT

Specifically conation is our "performance guiding factor". Conation establishes the pace with which we perform a learning task as well as the autonomy we exercise when learning. Conation also consists of our skills of fluidity, dexterity, mobility, and coordination. Most interestingly, our conation determines the agility with which we manipulate and use our own personal devices or tools to learn.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Développement de la personnalité
CONT

CONT

If the world could be divided into regions, within each of which there is factor mobility and between which there is factor immobility, then each of these regions should have a separate currency which fluctuates relative to all other currencies.

Record 4 1989-08-07

English

Subject field(s)
  • Social Problems
  • Human Behaviour
CONT

The inability of disabled people to physically defend themselves may be [a] risk factor. Mobility, sensory and intellectual impairments are all likely to interfere with a persons’ ability to resist or escape abuse. Because of the nature of their disability, physically dependent people are also often unable to exert normal counter-control over those who care for them. Thus, these people may experience a particularly great risk for sexual abuse at the hands of their caregivers.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Problèmes sociaux
  • Comportement humain
CONT

Record 5 1988-03-30

English

Subject field(s)
  • Rheology
CONT

Martin and Sherwood (1975) ... related their observations regarding polymer retention and mobility reduction in porous media. They found that polymer reduction decreased as the degree of hydrolysis increased.

OBS

The hydrolyzed polymer has a larger effective diameter which leads to a higher resistance factor or reduced mobility.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Rhéologie
CONT

Record 6 1988-01-23

English

Subject field(s)
  • Rheology
CONT

The combined mobility reduction resulting from an increased apparent viscosity and a decreased permeability is quite dramatic, even for low concentration of polymer. The measure of the mobility reduction is known as the "resistance factor".

French

Domaine(s)
  • Rhéologie
CONT
