Evaluators will commence at the lowest response level(factors) and assign a 1 to 7 points score to each factor. Factors will be rolled up to items and items to sub-areas by means of averaging the assigned scores to maintain the 1-7 scoring system. All rated sub-areas will be scored individually. A score of 4 or higher must be achieved at each sub-area. For the purposes of this evaluation process, a score of 4 equates to meeting the requirement with a minimum of acceptable risk. 1, record 2, English, - sub%2Darea

The job component method is a statistically developed job evaluation method which relies on scored questionnaires, multiple regression analysis and factor analysis. Employees complete a standardized questionnaire which either identifies the behavioral components of the job or the task based components of the job. The incumbent indicates for each task or behavior, the importance of the category and the frequency of perfomance. The questionnaire is input into a computerized mathematical model and a job score is determined. 1, record 4, English, - job%20component%20method

The exposure matrix was developed to account for job, plant, and era dependent differences in TCDD [2, 3, 7, 8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin] exposure. The TCDD exposure estimates are based on(1) the concentration of TCDD in micrograms per gram present in process materials;(2) the duration of exposure to TCDD contamination, expressed as a fraction of a work day; and(3) a qualitative contact factor(0. 05-1. 5) to account for the extent of worker contact with the TCDD contaminated material. These three factors are multiplied together to yield a daily TCDD exposure score. The sum of the daily exposure scores constituted an individual' s cumulative exposure score. Daily TCDD exposure scores range from 0. 001 to 1250. Cumulative TCDD exposure scores are distributed from 0. 002 to 1, 651, 611 exposure score days. The TCDD cumulative exposure score, which incorporates both duration and level of exposure, provides a means for ranking workers for evaluating the relationship between TCDD exposure and mortality in a retrospective cohort study analysis. 2, record 6, English, - exposure%20score

The following surrogate measures of dose, for each substance, were used to summarize "likely"’ exposure histories for each study subject: duration of employment in occupation/industry combinations considered exposed, a cumulative exposure score, and "average" intensity of exposure.

2, record 6, French, - indice%20d%27exposition

Linear scoring function charts compare alternatives on a point system, where for each alternative an initial score(from 1(=lowest) to 10(=highest] against each evaluation factor is multiplied by the relative weight given to that factor(arrived at, in comparison to other evaluation factors, by an interdisciplinary delphi-type process) ;the best alternative is the one which accumulates the most total points. 1, record 8, English, - linear%20scoring%20function%20chart
