2, record 1, French, - comportement%20suicidaire

Another fascinating case, stretching the rescue doctrine to its limits, is Urbanski v. Patel, where a father, who donated a kidney to his daughter, sued the doctor whose negligence precipitated the event. He was successful, the court holding that it was "entirely foreseable that one of her family would be invited, and would agree, to donate a kidney for transplant, an act which accords, too, with the principle developed in many ’rescue cases’". 1, record 70, English, - rescue%20doctrine
