The Ontario Disaster Relief Assistance Program(ODRAP) is intended to alleviate the hardship suffered by private homeowners, farmers, small business enterprises and non-profit organizations, whose essential property has been damaged in a sudden and unexpected natural disaster, such as a severe windstorm, tornado, flood, forest fire or ice storm. ODRAP provides funds to those who have sustained heavy losses for essential items such as shelter and the "necessities of life. "

Objectifs du Programme ontarien de secours aux sinistrés (POSS) vise à atténuer les difficultés subies par les propriétaires, les agriculteurs, les petites entreprises et les organismes à but non lucratif, dont la propriété principale a subi des dégâts dus à une catastrophe naturelle soudaine et imprévisible soit, par exemple, une violente tempête de vent, une tornade, une inondation, un incendie de forêt ou une tempête de verglas. Le POSS accorde des fonds aux personnes dont les biens essentiels comme le logement et les «nécessités de la vie» ont été sérieusement endommagés.
