1, record 17, French, - eau%20riparienne%20de%20plaine%20d%27inondation

Riparian delta water : These wetlands occur on alluvial plains and areas where alluvium is deposited where a river or stream enters a lake. An active delta is well drained with interconnecting channels, lakes and ponds. The process of sediment deposition is ongoing. Associated wetlands are flooded frequently. In some instances, former lake shorelines have receded or disappeared over geologic time leaving isolated deltas. Flooding of associated wetlands is infrequent, due to river flooding or wind tides(seiches). 1, record 18, English, - riparian%20delta%20water

Requirement : Cool on the same day as picked from the orchard, hundreds of crates of fruit from the field temperature(core at perhaps 95 degrees) to as close as 33 degrees storage temperature as possible prior to passage to the storage rooms. This requires a hydro-cooling system that will deliver large quantities of recirculated water at 33 degrees that can be flooded over the warm fruit on a conveyor belt that accepts fruit from the field and delivers it to the storage rooms. The extraneous water which enters a sanitary sewer system utilizes the design capacity and increases the cost of wastewater collection and treatment facilities. The flows are generally attributed to infiltration and inflow. Infiltration is the groundwater which leaks into the sewer system generally through deteriorated and/or defective pipes, joints, connections, and manholes.... Inflow is the stormwater which directly enters the sewer system after rainfall from such sources as flooded manhole covers, yard and roof drain connections and cross-connections with a storm sewer. The modern doctrine of strict liability for the escape of dangerous substances had its genesis in 1866, in the leading case of Rylands v. Fletcher. The defendant millowners decided to construct a water reservoir on their land for the purpose of supplying water to their factory. On the chosen site there was a disused shaft of an abandoned mine, but owing to the negligence of the engineers, a firm of independent contractors who had been entrusted with the work, this fact was not discovered until the water broke into the staft and flooded the plaintiff's adjoining mine through communicating passages. 1, record 42, English, - escape%20of%20dangerous%20substances

This is now the most widely used harvesting method. After bogs are flooded to a depth of about 1 to 2 feet, machines resembling lawn tractors carrying large horizontal reels are passed through the bogs. These reels, about 1 to 2 feet in diameter, churn up the water and vibrate the cranberries loose from the vine. After the berries float to the surface, they are corralled to one end using large floating wooden booms. Berries are then conveyed off the water to waiting trucks for transportation to processing plants. 1, record 44, English, - wet%20harvesting

Underground railway systems shall achieve a high degree of importance in the cities, so the architect’s role in planning and construction must be considered in a wider context in the future. A high degree of architectural quality in the appearance of an underground railway leads to its general acceptance as a means of transport. ... The book ... deals with the functional and spatial relation to other public areas which are connected to underground stations. It compares historical and recent examples of the subterranean architecture of metro stations in different countries by examining technical aspects and aspects of space-shaping brought in by the architects and engineers who designed the interior of the stations. 3, record 59, English, - subterranean%20architecture

Generally, inflow causes sudden increases in wastewater flow rate. 1, record 75, English, - regulatory%20catchment%20area

1, record 86, French, - fermentation%20submerg%C3%A9e
