Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
As the rivers flow through these flooded wetlands, they deposit extensive levee and crevasse splay sediments along the length of the valley... Tributaries flowing into the valley develop fluvial-fan deltas along the margins of the valley. As a result, the alluvial fill of these wide valleys consists of mixed coarsening upward deltaic and crevasse splay deposits interbedded with fining upward channel deposits as well as organic-rich shales and coals. 6, record 2, English, - crevasse%2Dsplay%20deposit

Overbank deposits along an abandoned channel of the Animas river in Elk Park. The bed of the abandoned channel is about 1 ft above the low-flow level of the Animas River; consequently, the channel is probably flooded annually during spring runoff. 2, record 3, French, - d%C3%A9p%C3%B4t%20de%20d%C3%A9bordement

This action would include selectively removing riparian vegetation from the flood (i.e.,high-flow) channel of selected portions of Dry Creek, thereby removing obstructions to flow. Woody vegetation between the high-flow bank edge and the edge of the low-flow channel would be removed. 2, record 4, English, - high%2Dflow%20channel
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 CONT
[A] channel [means] the part of a watercourse that carries flow. ... A high-flow channel is formed by flood flow. Immediately following a flood, a high-flow channel generally is a distinct feature delineated by vegetation boundaries and well-defined channel banks, but degradation of the banks and revegetation can rapidly obscure boundaries of the high-flow channel ... 5, record 4, English, - high%2Dflow%20channel
