1, record 5, French, - vue%20sur%20le%20site%20environnant

A pocket connection is typically used when the wall below(i. e., foundation wall) continues to the story above the floor level without a change in wall thickness. The pocket connection consists of a void or "pocket" created in the wall by changing block placement or cutting into the block units after the walk is erected. The bearing surface on which the joists(or girders) bear typically is grouted solid creating a horizontal reinforced bond beam that ties together the walls in the story below. Light-frame builders may not be familiar with ledger and pocket connections. Such connections typically do not find much use in light-frame construction. However, ledger and pocket connections are not new to the building industry. For example, wood floor-to-masonry ledger and pocket connections were used in the United States during the 1700s, 1800s, and 1900s in residential masonry homes and continue to perform satisfactorily. 6, record 21, English, - blockout

Plywood Dome House Construction Plans. This detailed set of instructions will allow you to make your own versatile wooden dome structure, whether for a house, garage, greenhouse, weekender or storage hut. Cheaper and easier to make than almost any other abode, the wooden dome can take less than a week to erect for 2 people working together. The basic building parts of panels, stiffeners, gussets, ribs and plates are put together like a mechano set using hexagonal head coach screws, washers, nails and anchor bolts for the floor attachment. Aesthetically pleasing and with a spacious interior feeling, the dome gives a harmonious dimension to any environmental setting. 1, record 37, English, - dome%20house

Because of its powerful recirculating effect, the gas mixing method allows the construction of digesters with a gradually sloping floor; as a result these are cheaper. The cover often takes the form of a fixed roof. Floating covers can also be used, but they are fairly costly to install and maintain. 1, record 61, English, - fixed%20roof

1, record 61, French, - coupole%20fixe
