Working with 26 suppliers, DaimlerChrysler says its developing new concepts and manufacturing methods to increase the amount of recycled materials in its vehicles. For instance, under the automaker's CARE car project it has developed two vehicles that optimize use of recycled materials, including plastic bottles, glass, foamed material, and carpet and used tires.
