Football 5-a-side made its Paralympic debut at the Athens Games in 2004 and is open to athletes with visual impairments. There are five players on each team and the game lasts 50 minutes. Rules are similar to the able-bodied game with a few modifications. The ball makes noise when it moves and everyone, aside from the goalkeeper, uses eye shades to ensure fairness. The goalkeeper may be sighted and act as a guide during the game. Also, the measurements of the field are smaller and there are no offside rulings. 6, record 1, English, - football%205%2Da%2Dside

Find a large flat area such as a football field and place one device on the ground in transmit mode. The other should be set to search mode on maximum gain and the antennas should be parallel. Move away from the device on the ground until the signal disappears. Touch football derives its name from the fact that touching(tagging) the ballcarrier rather than tackling him is the method used to stop his advancement. This is a passing game rather than a kicking game... variations still exist with respect to number of players [from 6 to 11 players or more], distances to be gained for a first down [local rules may specify 20 yards], total number of downs [on a small field a team may be permitted 5 downs] and length of game [agreed to beforehand by the teams involved].... A ballcarrier is considered downed when he is touched--that is, when one or both hands of the defending player tag him, usually above the waist. Offensive players may run interference for the ballcarrier but may not hit an opponent so as to knock him down.... Padded uniforms, helmets, and cleats are not worn, because the chance of injury is slight. 2, record 15, English, - touch%20football

The Space Shuttle stops within 50 meters of Mir, which is approximately one-half the length of a football field. From that position the Space Shuttle waits for clearance from Mission Control to continue. When the command is given to continue, the Reaction Control System is activated again and the Space Shuttle closes in on Mir at a speed of about 0. 05 meters per second until it reaches a distance of about 9 meters. There, the Space Shuttle stops again and waits for approximately 5 minutes. The Commander and Pilot make sure they can see the docking target clearly and fine-tune the alignment of the Space Shuttle with the docking target. A large black cross called the Stand-off Cross is mounted 30 centimeters(cm) above the back plate in the center of the target. When the Commander has the Stand-off Cross squarely in line with the docking target, he or she maneuvers the Space Shuttle and makes contact with the docking ring. Once a series of hooks is engaged, the Space Shuttle is then successfully docked with Mir. 2, record 18, English, - docking%20target

Along with a recorder you will need a microphone. There are two types of microphones that are directional enough for bird song recording the shotgun microphone and the parabolic reflector microphone. The parabolic reflector is actually a combination of a reflector dish typically between 13" and 30" in diameter and a microphone. The microphone is positioned in the focal point of the reflector. This is the area where all of the sound is concentrated and yields an increased sensitivity that cannot be obtained by any other method. 2, record 19, English, - parabolic%20microphone
