A team handball ball is an inflated sphere covered with leather. For the men’s game it has a circumference of 58 to 60 cm (22.8 to 23.6 in) and weighs 425 to 480 g (15.0 to 16.9 oz). For the women’s game it has a circumference of 54 to 56 cm (21.3 to 22.0 in) and weighs 325 to 400 g (11.5 to 14.1 oz). 1, record 11, English, - team%20handball%20ball

The ball is smaller than a football in order for the players to be able to hold and handle it with a single hand(though contact with both hands is perfectly allowed). Some American versions use a volleyball. It is transported by bouncing it between hands and floor-much as in basketball. A player may only hold the ball for three seconds and may only take three steps with the ball in hand. There are many variations, a common American version allows only 1 step with the ball, and afterward MUST pass the ball to another teammate or shoot. 4, record 11, English, - team%20handball%20ball

A variation of football played usually with 6 or 9 players to a side in which blocking is allowed but tackling is not and in which a defensive player must remove a flag from the ballcarrier's clothing to stop play. Each team is given 4 downs in which to score or lose possession of the ball, and each member of a team is eligible to catch a forward pass. Touch football derives its name from the fact that touching(tagging) the ballcarrier rather than tackling him is the method used to stop his advancement. This is a passing game rather than a kicking game... variations still exist with respect to number of players [from 6 to 11 players or more], distances to be gained for a first down [local rules may specify 20 yards], total number of downs [on a small field a team may be permitted 5 downs] and length of game [agreed to beforehand by the teams involved].... A ballcarrier is considered downed when he is touched--that is, when one or both hands of the defending player tag him, usually above the waist. Offensive players may run interference for the ballcarrier but may not hit an opponent so as to knock him down.... Padded uniforms, helmets, and cleats are not worn, because the chance of injury is slight. 2, record 14, English, - touch%20football

1, record 14, French, - touch%2Dfootball

This person is often the coach who, in professional sports, has the aid of an assistant. In some team sports, mapping the game plan or deciding on the strategies to adopt is the main task of one player; that is the case of the skip in curling or of the quarterback in football.
