Oxyfuel combustion. An alternative is to burn the fossil fuel in pure or enriched oxygen. In such a fashion the flue gas will contain mostly CO2 and H2O. A part of the flue gas needs to be recycled into the combustion chamber in order to control the flame temperature. From the non-recycled flue gas, water vapor can be readily condensed, and the CO2 can be compressed and piped directly to the storage site. 3, record 1, English, - oxyfuel%20combustion

3, record 1, French, - oxycombustion
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
4, record 1, French, - oxycombustion
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS

How do we determine past climate? Information about past climate is obtained from piecing evidence together from various sources, including : Ice cores... Fossil Pollen... Lake sediments... Ocean sediment cores... Loess... Glaciers... Speleothems... Tree ring width... Boreholes... Instrumental Measurements and written or oral records : In New Zealand, quantitative records of temperature and other meteorological records are available only for the past 150 years. Such records must be analysed carefully, to identify the influence of any non-climate factors(such as changes in observing site or method, or encroaching urban development). 2, record 2, English, - past%20climate

Paleoclimatology is the study of past climate. ... Paleoclimate is climate that existed before humans began collecting instrumental measurements of weather (such as temperature from a thermometer, ...). 3, record 2, English, - past%20climate
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Contrary to "paleoclimate", "past climate" also refers to climate in the "near" past (e.g.: approximately 150 years old) where information was also recorded by instrumental weather measurements. 4, record 2, English, - past%20climate

2, record 2, French, - climat%20pass%C3%A9

Ottawa : Natural Resources Canada, Geological Survey of Canada, 1998--. HTML. Database. Internet(WWW). ""DINOFLAJ is a database system containing a current classification of fossil and living dinoflagellates down to generic rank, and an index of fossil dinoflagellates at generic, specific, and infraspecific ranks. Dinoflagellates are single-celled organisms that have two distinctive flagella during at least part of their life cycle and/or a special type of nucleus called a dinokaryon. They are probably best known as a principal cause of "red tides" and paralytic shellfish poisoning. A glossary and an extensive list of references for modern and fossil dinoflagellate taxonomic references are included, and all information is hyperlinked for convenient browsing. The system is available in two forms : a web site and a CD-ROM version. ""As of October 1, 1998, the full version of DINOFLAJ will be available online or on CD-ROM.
