OBS

A strike can be achieved in the following ways : 1. A pitch is struck at by the batter and missed; 2. A pitch enters the strike zone and is not struck at; 3. A pitch is fouled by the batter when he has less than two strikes; 4. A pitch is bunted foul; 5. A pitch touches the batter as he strikes at it; 6. A pitch touches the batter when he is leaning into the strike zone. It doesn’t matter that he hasn’t struck at the ball; 7. A pitch is tipped foul by the batter.

A double dribble occurs when a player dribbles a second time after having held the ball or touched it with both hands simultaneously. The double dribble is a foul.

OBS

If a player travels with the ball or does a double dribble, the opposing team gains possession [of the ball]. A player travels by either running or walking with the ball without dribbling it. Double dribbling is using both hands to bounce the ball or ceasing to dribble, holding the ball, and then dribbling again.

A base runner may steal a base when the batter does not hit the ball. He does this by running with the pitch - that is, as the pitcher is throwing the ball. He must get to the next base before the ball is thrown there and he is tagged.

OBS

The second and third bases are the most common steals, though stealing home plate (and scoring a point) happens once in a while.
