The Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data, better known as STEP, is an international standard for exchanging data between different CAD/CAM and Product Data Management (PDM) systems. It represents a viable alternative to the current chaos of multiple, fragmented standards and proprietary data formats, and is a proven way to ensure fast, reliable data exchange between partners and suppliers using different systems... STEP is an international standard (ISO 10303). Its evolution and development take place under the auspices of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Committee 184, Subcommittee 4.

La norme de communication graphique entre deux systèmes, mieux connue sous son titre abrégé anglais « STEP » (Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data), est une norme internationale pour l'échange de données entre différents systèmes CAO/FAO et des systèmes de gestion des données sur les produits (GDP). Cette norme, qui représente une solution de rechange viable au chaos actuel caractérisé par la multiplicité des normes, leur caractère morcelé et des structures de données exclusives, constitue une façon bien établie d'assurer un échange rapide et fiable de données entre partenaires et fournisseurs utilisant des systèmes différents... Le STEP est une norme internationale (ISO 10303), dont l'évolution et le développement relèvent du sous-comité 4 du comité technique 184 de l'Organisation internationale de normalisation (ISO).

The ten Bandung Principles which are the foundation of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries are as follows : 1) Respect for fundamental human rights and for the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations. 2) Respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a nation. 3) Recognition of the equality of all races and of the equality of all nations. 4) Abstention from the intervention or interference in the internal affairs of another country. 5) Respect for the right of each nation to defend itself singly or collectively, in conformity with the Charter of the United Nations. 6) Abstention from the use of arrangements of collective defence to the particular interests of the big powers. b) Abstention by any country from exerting pressures on other countries. 7) Refraining from acts or threats of aggression or the use of force against territorial integrity or political independence of any country. 8) Settlement of all international disputes by peaceful means, in conformity with the Charter of the United Nations. 9) Promotion of mutual interest and cooperation. 10) Respect for justice and international obligations.
