1, record 5, French, - refroidissement%20par%20noyage

Petuntse. The gallicized form of the Chinese pai-tun-tzu, first employed by Jesuit missionaries in the 18th century to describe the rock which forms an essential part of true porcelain manufacture. It is a silicate of potassium and aluminium, normally referred to as a feldspathic rock. It was first used, about the 3rd century BC, in China for glazing protoporcelain and later, about the 9th century AD, was mixed with kaolin(white china clay) to form the body of the first translucent porcelain. Petuntse is a fusible rock which, fired at a sufficiently high temperature, becomes a natural glass, like obsidian. It gives porcelain both its hardness and translucency. 4, record 21, English, - petuntse

Electrowinning(winning or recovering the metal by an electrolytic process) can be carried out on the molten metal or compound, or on a solution of a compound of the metal. A pulley elbow is a device that contains a ball bearing sheave(pulley) which guides stainless steel cable 90 degrees around the sheave. It is defined as a device used to change direction for stainless steel wire cable, which is housed in conduit and is used to connect to a cable operated manual pull station, a mechanical gas valve, and/or the fusible link detection, from the Ansul AUTOMAN Regulated Release Mechanism. It is used because bending conduit results in too much friction loss in the movement of the cable in the conduit. There are two types of pulley elbows. Part No. 415670 has socket ends with set screws for ½ in. conduit, and Part No. 423250 has compression ring ends also for ½ in. conduit.
