Grooming is a word used to describe how people who want to sexually harm children and young people get close to them, and often their families, and gain their trust. Grooming in the real world can take place in all kinds of places – in the home or local neighbourhood, the child's school, youth and sports clubs or the church. Online grooming may occur by people forming relationships with children and pretending to be their friend. They do this by finding out information about their potential victim and trying to establish the likelihood of the child telling. They try to find out as much as they can about the child's family and social networks and, if they think it is "safe enough", will then try to isolate their victim and may use flattery and promises of gifts, or threats and intimidation in order to achieve some control. 2, record 5, English, - grooming

9, record 12, French, - %C3%A9quilibre

Find a large flat area such as a football field and place one device on the ground in transmit mode. The other should be set to search mode on maximum gain and the antennas should be parallel. Move away from the device on the ground until the signal disappears. Learning by doing works because it strikes at the heart of the basic memory processes that humans rely upon... We learn all this by doing, by constantly having new experiences and attempting to integrate those experiences into our existing memory structure. This process by which people fail and practice and fail and practice until they get it right works especially well when : 1) A system or process is new, and there's no available expertise with which to structure training. 2) There's time for people to learn on their own, and they can fail without any significant, negative consequences for the organization, and 3) A defacto apprenticeship process is in place to help people gain the job skills needed over time. 6, record 17, English, - apprenticeship%20learning

The evolution of the SOPHIE project can be viewed as a search for the right ingredients of "cognitive fidelity" in modeling expert reasoning. SOPHIE-I abandons the automata of the METEOROLOGY tutor to take advantage of mathematically based computational formalisms, which place the emphasis on physically faithful simulations. In an effort to gain cognitive fidelity, SOPHIE-III moves away from the structurally isomorphic representations of quantitative simulations to concentrate on mental models, but in some sense it goes too far and becomes too specialized to a given form of reasoning in the context of a specific task. 3, record 19, English, - cognitive%20fidelity
