The worked stone bridge on the east side of the Shokintel has a length of about 5. 96 meter, width of about 0. 70 meters and thickness of about 0. 36 meters. When its architectural structure is considered, the stone bridge might appear to be a straight line that is somewhat too strong for a guiding path to a tea garden which should be very natural. Actually, without being at all unnatural, it harmonizes well with spatial composition of the garden architecture. 2, record 1, English, - garden%20architecture

In the garden architecture of Katsura Rikyu, the main building of the Shokintei and its enclosure have an important significance, just as in the case of the Shoin. It can be said that the character of Katsura Rikyu’s entire garden is represented in the structural design of this building and its garden. 3, record 1, English, - garden%20architecture

1, record 1, French, - architecture%20des%20jardins
