OBS

Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. These garnishment procedures are designed primarily to inform departments and agencies of the procedures that they must follow so that the employer can respond to garnishee summonses within the time limits specified in the Garnishment Attachment and Pension Diversion Act(GAPDA). They are to be used in conjunction with the Act and the Regulations, the relevant Compensation and Receiver General directives and the departmental procedures.
