Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Allopatric speciation results from geographic isolation between populations. In the absence of gene flow, reproductive isolation arises gradually and incidentally as a result of mutation, genetic drift and the indirect effects of natural selection driving local adaptation. 2, record 2, English, - allopatric%20speciation
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 OBS
A physical barrier, for example, an ocean or a desert proves effective in reducing or eliminating gene exchange between populations and cause them to evolve or differentiate into new species. 3, record 2, English, - allopatric%20speciation

2, record 2, French, - sp%C3%A9ciation%20allopatrique
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
3, record 2, French, - sp%C3%A9ciation%20allopatrique
