One of a group of primary headache disorders (trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias) of uncertain mechanism that are characterized by frequently recurring, short-lasting but extremely severe headaches that occur in groups or clusters.

Cluster headache sufferers typically experience very severe headaches of a piercing quality near one eye or temple that last for between 15 minutes and three hours. They are frequently associated with drooping eyelids, red watery eyes, and nasal congestion on the affected side of the face. The headaches are unilateral and occasionally change sides. The neck is often stiff or tender in association with cluster headaches, and jaw and teeth pain is sometimes reported.

It emerged in response to the need for a writing style that could be quickly executed, to deal with the volume of official written documents. Its major features are stick-straight vertical and horizontal lines and a tight structure.

Ce type d'écriture est apparu pour répondre au besoin d'un style d'écriture permettant de traiter le volume croissant de documents officiels. On doit ce style calligraphique à Ch'eng Mia, un directeur de prison sous la dynastie Ch'in. Cette écriture se caractérise par des lignes verticales et horizontales très droites et une structure très resserrée. Ce qui frappe le plus dans ce mode d'écriture, c'est la largeur relative des caractères.
