Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
A fundamental interaction experienced by elementary particles (as hadrons) that is more powerful than any other known force and is responsible for the binding together of neutrons and protons in the atomic nucleus and for processes of particle creation in high-energy collisions. 5, record 1, English, - strong%20nuclear%20force

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
4, record 1, French, - interaction%20nucl%C3%A9aire%20forte

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The inelastic interaction is based on the assumed dominance of hadronic collisions by gluonic interactions where the two colliding nucleons are represented by the valence quarks carrying their quantum numbers plus the accompanying clouds of gluons which represent also the sea quark pairs. In the course of collision, gluonic clouds interact strongly and form strings and sub-strings according to their available energies. 1, record 2, English, - inelastic%20interaction
