HAEMODIALYSIS [5 records]

Record 1 2007-12-05

English

Subject field(s)
  • Surgery
DEF

The removal of a transplant.

CONT

One patient developed a pulmonary embolus and thereafter during anticoagulation therapy a bleeding in the transplant. After insertion of a vena cava filter, a vena cava inferior syndrome occurred and because of continuous bleeding in the kidney transplant, a transplantectomy was performed and haemodialysis was restarted.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Chirurgie
DEF

Ablation d'un greffon.

CONT

  • Preoperative and Postoperative Treatment
OBS

Infusion of oxygen in the blood without the use of lungs.

OBS

Various ways of realizing extrapulmonary oxygenation during haemodialysis in order to counteract the described tendency to hypoxaemia are pointed out. They should be particularly important when pulmonary means are exhausted(acute dialysis, shock lung)(abstract) [Oxygen exchange processes between the dialyzing fluid and the blood during hemodialysis and resultant practical consequences-Z.
