Hair lacquers usually come in either a plastic squeeze bottle or an aerosol. The early products contained shellac, and many still do.... Le terme anglais «styling mist» désigne une laque de coiffage contenue dans un pulvérisateur au lieu d'une bombe pression comme dans l'ancien modèle. Cette laque est pulvérisée sur les cheveux comme un nuage, une vapeur. Renseignement obtenu de l'École de coiffure du Collège Algonquin d'Ottawa.
