The public agency for whose benefit an area has been reserved shall have a period of one(1) year after recording the final subdivision plat to enter into an agreement to acquire such reserved land area. The Family Farm Loan program from the Farm Credit Corporation(FCC) provides for a smooth, gradual transfer of farm assets from one generation to the next. The loans are not limited to family members only. Through the program, the FCC lends up to 90% of the appraised value of a property to the purchaser. The seller receives approximately half the funds on the sale and the balance in equal installments over a four-year period.
