Robotic grasping and manipulation in unknown environments is made difficult by several factors.... To make robots cheaper, lighter, and safer, precision in the accuracy of end-effector position is often sacrificed. This introduces uncertainty in the position of the gripper relative to the object. Robotic grasping theory must account for such uncertainty in order to provide robust and reliable grasping in unstructured environments. One method for dealing with such uncertainty is robotic caging. Unlike an immobilizing grasp, in which the robotic hand grasps an object so as to prevent all motion of the object relative to the hand, a caging grasp only prevents the object from escaping through the fingers, while allowing some motion of the object relative to the hand. 1, record 3, English, - robotic%20caging

Assistive robots, last-mile delivery, warehouse navigation, and robots in office environments are all applications that require robust robot navigation in dynamic environments. While methods exist for robot navigation sub-tasks, such as localization and mapping, motion planning, and control, current local navigation methods typically must be tuned for each new robot and environment. For example, vision-based navigation typically relies on high-level motion primitives such as "go straight" and "turn left" that abstract away robot dynamics. On the other hand, motion planning handles robot dynamics, but often requires near-perfect sensor observations. 1, record 6, English, - vision%2Dbased%20navigation

The main difference between the chest press machine and a bench press is the body position in which the exercise is performed. ... A chest press machine guides the movement of your arms along a fixed path, helping to promote proper technique. 1, record 14, English, - chest%20press%20machine

The... chest press has independent movement and converging pushing angles to increase the range of motion of the excercise. Progressive strength curve gradually increases force at end of movement when user is in strongest position, allowing user to engage more muscles. Oversized handles make pressing exercises more comfortable by spreading the load over a larger area of the user's hand and the easy seat adjustment means a broad range of user heights can be accommodated. 3, record 14, English, - chest%20press%20machine

There are basically three types of service : 1) the flat service; 2) the slice service; 3) the spin service. Note that the term "serve" is ambiguous in English. On the one hand it may refer to the result of going through(e. g. he can hit a very hard "serve") ;finally, it may even refer to one of the two attempts allowed to complete a service(e. g. he is about to make his second "serve"-French : deuxième balle de service). The atlatl is used as an extension of the arm in throwing a spear or dart. The spear shaft is socketed and fits into the spur or hook of the Atlatl. Essentially the Atlatl lengthens the length of the spear thrower's arm and with loaded, spring-like, motion can provide the benefit of greater force and distance over that of the hand thrown spear. It is hypothesized that sometimes a stone weight(s)(a. k. a. : Bannerstone, Birdstone, Boatstone) was attached to the Atlatl to provide better balance or to load the device with a spring or bending effect or to diminish the "whoosh" noise created during the throwing process. 4, record 20, English, - atlatl

Figure 1... shows the principle of laminography, a synchronized motion between an X-ray source and a detector generating an geometric focus plane and forms an X-ray slice image of that. Objects in the focal plane are always projected at the same position of the detector. On the other hand, those that are not in the focal plane are projected to other positions of the detector and thus are blurred as the source and detector move in a complete circle. Thus the "noise" from the materials above and below the focal plane is eliminated when all the images on the detectors are overlapped. 2, record 23, English, - laminography

Motion moved from the floor of a meeting or conference with the object of ending discussion on the item of business in hand. If the motion is seconded and then carried, the meeting abandons the item in hand and moves immediately to the next item on the agenda. The chairman has discretion to reject a motion for next business but if he accepts it, it must be put to the vote immediately, usually without discussion. A motion for next business has much in common with a previous question motion. 1, record 25, English, - next%20business

1, record 28, French, - tir%20revers
