Several thread suppliers sell spools of monofilament thread, which is very fine and comes in either nylon or polyester. Many quilters prefer polyester monofilament thread because it doesn’t stretch as much as the nylon, and therefore isn’t as likely to tangle. In addition, nylon thread doesn’t do well in heat and it may discolor over time. Still, other quilters choose nylon [invisible] thread for its performance and say it looks the most like hand quilting. 4, record 1, English, - invisible%20thread

Hand quilting is the process of using a needle and thread to sew a running stitch by hand across the entire area to be quilted. This binds the layers together. A quilting frame or hoop is often used to assist in holding the piece being quilted off the quilter's lap. 2, record 3, English, - hand%20quilting
